Grade 9 information

• Understand ReadiStep results
• Join extra-curricular activities
• Try out for interscholastic athletics
• You will need at least four credits, including English 9 or Government, in order to return with sophomore status.
• Aim to finish the year with A's and B's, but certainly nothing lower than C's.
• Plan for your final grades, and predict your GPA at the end of 9th grade.
• If you came from a Jewish Day school for middle school, consider taking the SAT Subject Test for Hebrew in October or December.
• In May or June, consider taking the SAT Subject Test in Biology if you are considering "elite" colleges like Carnegie Mellon University, Washington and Lee University, or Williams College.
