#PHSfit College of the Day: Washington and Jefferson College
About
45 minutes south of Pittsburgh is Washington and Jefferson College. Founded in
1781, Washington and Jefferson College is one of the nation's top liberal arts
colleges. Most students have a high B average, score about 500 on each SAT, and
only 33% graduate in the top tenth of their class. Aside from the personal and
intellectual benefits of attending a liberal arts college, the benefit of going
to Washington and Jefferson College is that you would be able to focus on your
schooling in a quiet campus, while be close enough to the city to benefit from
internship opportunities.
