McDaniel College, located in Westminster, is not very far away geographically, but by
the time you've traveled the Westminster Pike into the Carroll County
farmlands, you step into another time and place. McDaniel College is listed as
one of the Colleges That Change Lives, known for giving its students the
support and encouragement they need to develop into highly functioning adults,
rather than treating them like nameless faces in the crowd.
