#PHSfit Career of the Day: Conservationist

A conservation scientist studies elements of the ecosystem in order to manage its development, to limit erosion of natural resources, and to support all types of life on earth. They mostly work outside, collecting samples to be analyzed, observing growth and animal behavior, with a clear objective to limit human beings' impact on the world around us. The scientists often work with lobbyist organizations to advocate for their causes, which are at times in contrast with other corporate or governmental interests.
