#PHSfit Career of the Day: Athletic Trainer

Whether assisting in professional or amateur, or high school, college, professional, or Olympic sports, competitive athletes need trainers. People get injured and need immediate assistance, or they need accurate and appropriate stretching and taping, and athletic trainers are there to keep the athletes performing at their best. In order to be an athletic trainer, you will need to have a commitment to service and not get squeamish when you see injuries. It helps to have volunteered in the medical field, but most have a college degree in either athletic training or kinesiology.
